How to Debloat In 24 Hours

Let’s get right to it–Bloating sucks!
Bad news: Like most women, bloating is a huge problem for me and can be very uncomfortable. Between having IBS, traveling, periods, and stress–the last thing I want to deal with is being bloated, sadly, most of those things cause bloating. Of course life always throws curve balls and this always happens when I have an important meeting, photoshoot, or big night planned.
Good news: I’ve figured out a way to debloat in just a few hours! Below are some of the simple steps I follow on days I feel all blah and bloated ….
1. Drink a Gallon of water
This is crucial! I know you might think “Oh I’m going to be extra bloated if I drink a lot of water” Wrong! Drinking a gallon of water through out the day will help flush out any toxins and help relax/replenish your body.
2. 45 minutes of cardio
Cardio is great for when your bloated! Jump on the treadmill, elliptical, or my fav the stair-master for 30-45 minutes.
3. Steam room/Sauna 
Sweat. Sweat. Sweat.
4. Hot water with lemon and Peppermint Tea
Hot water with lemon has proven to relax your digestive system and help relieve bloating. Peppermint tea is always great as well, it’s loaded with antioxidants and helps with any indigestive issues!  
5. Yoga/Stretch
Yoga and stretching are great to help relieve bloating, cramps, and improve digestion!
6. Heating Pad
Sooth your stomach by placing a nice heating pad on for 10-15 minutes.
7. NO sugar or salt 
Simple…no sugar or salts. Try to stick to high fibered and light home cooked meals.
